Etsy's headline fee is 6.5%, but a typical order pays four or five separate charges: the listing fee, the transaction fee, payment processing, sometimes a regulatory operating fee, Offsite Ads and VAT or GST on the fees themselves. Which ones you pay, and at what rate, depends on the country of your Etsy payment account.
