How to use the Depop Fee Calculator
- Choose your country: US, UK or Australia.
- Enter the item price and the shipping the buyer pays. In the US, add the buyer's sales tax rate because the processing fee is charged on it.
- If the buyer found the item through a Boosted listing, tick Boosted. Tick the Depop label box if you shipped with a Depop label.
- Add what the item and postage cost you to see profit and break-even price.
How it is calculated
Processing fee = processing % × (item + shipping + sales tax) + fixed fee Boosting fee = boost % × (item + shipping) (item only if you used a Depop label) You receive = item + shipping − processing − boosting Profit = what you receive − your costs
Sellers outside the US, UK and Australia still pay a 10% selling fee and PayPal's processing fees; this calculator covers the three markets without a selling fee.

Is Boosting worth it?
Boosting shows your listing to more buyers, and you only pay when a boosted listing sells. At 12% in the US and UK (for listings from 23 March 2026) it costs more than the processing fee, so it suits items with a healthy margin. Compare the profit with and without Boosting in the calculator before you turn it on for cheap items.
Frequently asked questions
Does Depop still charge a 10% fee?
Not in the US, UK or Australia. Depop removed its selling fee for sellers there; sellers in other countries still pay 10%.
What is the Depop payment processing fee?
In 2026 it is 3.3% + $0.45 in the US, 2.9% + £0.30 in the UK and 2.6% + A$0.30 in Australia, charged on the item price plus shipping and any taxes.
How much is the Depop Boosting fee?
12% in the US and UK for listings created from 23 March 2026 and 8% in other markets, charged on the item price and, unless you used a Depop label, the shipping.
Who pays the Depop marketplace fee?
Buyers in the US, UK and Australia pay a small marketplace fee at checkout. It does not come out of your payout.
Are Depop fees refunded if I refund the buyer?
Yes, for sales through Depop Payments the selling, processing and Boosting fees are reversed automatically when you refund.
