VAT, GST & sales tax tools
Sales taxes trip up online sellers in two ways: using the wrong formula to remove tax from a price, and counting tax as profit. VAT and GST you collect belong to the government, so your real income is always the price without tax.
These calculators use the current rates from GOV.UK, the ATO, Inland Revenue, the Canada Revenue Agency, India's CBIC and the Tax Foundation's 2026 US state data, including Nova Scotia's 14% HST and India's GST 2.0 slabs. The guides explain registration thresholds and how tax affects your prices on Etsy, eBay and Shopify.
