How to use the Stripe Fee Calculator

  1. Choose the country of your Stripe account.
  2. Choose whether you want the fee on a payment or the amount to charge so that you receive an exact sum.
  3. Pick the card type. In the UK, Australia and India the card's issuing country changes the rate; in the US and Canada an extra percentage is added for international cards.
  4. Tick currency conversion if the customer pays in a different currency from your payouts.

How it is calculated

Fee            = amount × (card rate % + international % + conversion %) + fixed fee
You receive = amount − fee
To receive X   = (X + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − total % ÷ 100)
