With 147,406 spectators at Churchill Downs to watch Sovereignty win the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby at 7-1 odds on Saturday, wagering from all sources on the Derby Day program totaled $349 million, according to Churchill Downs. The total broke last year’s record of $320.5 million.

All-source wagering also hit a new high of $234.4 million after a record-setting $210.7 million in 2024, while all-sources handle for Derby Week totaled a record-setting $473.9 million.
