LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Temperatures ranged from the mid 70s to the mid 90s on Saturday. There was a mix of sun and clouds as well, but cooler, cloudier and wetter conditions are forecast on Sunday.
Starting off with our high temperatures, we will see upper 60s to the west and upper 80s to the east.
Meanwhile, we could see some isolated severe storms and that chance is in place Saturday evening/overnight out to the west. Damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall are all possible.
That risk shifts into central and eastern Nebraska on Sunday and along with the concerns from Saturday, an isolated tornado is also possible.
Regarding timing, storm coverage is likely to expand into the overnight hours. The chance for showers and storms increases late Sunday afternoon and continues into the evening as well.
After drying out on Monday, unsettled conditions return Tuesday through Thursday. 80s are likely through Tuesday, but a cold front will not only spark showers and storms but drop us back into the 70s too.
